Sangadji Tarbaev

Background

Sangadzhi Andreyevich Tarbaev is a Russian politician who serves as chairman of the State Duma Committee on Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure Development in the 8th State Duma. In that role, he helps oversee parliamentary work on tourism policy, related infrastructure, and legislative issues affecting the sector. He was elected to the State Duma in the 2021 Russian legislative election and is part of the federal legislature’s current work on tourism development.

Before entering the State Duma, Tarbaev built a career in media and business. He worked as a producer, television host, and actor, and was a cofounder and producer at Yellow, Black and White. He also cofounded the mixed martial arts promotion company Fight Nights Global, now known as AMC Fight Nights, and later served as director-general of the production company My Way Productions.
